A PGA Member and Maryland native, Carla graduated from the University of Maryland. She came to The Breakers after teaching at numerous top golf clubs throughout the North East and South Florida areas—including Sleepy Hollow Country Club in New York, Emerald Dunes Club in West Palm Beach and Columbia Country Club in Maryland.

Carla was recognized as Girls Golf Coach of the Year in 2018 by The Palm Beach Post, and was named one Golf Digest’s Best Young Teachers in America (2021 – 2024) and Best Teacher in State (2025 – 2026).
