Phil is a distinguished PGA Professional recognized for his exceptional coaching and dedication for players of all levels. His accolades include being named the New England PGA Teacher of the Year and earning a spot on Golf Digest’s list of Best Teachers in Your State.

Phil’s expertise is backed by an impressive array of coaching certifications, including TPI Golf Level 3, Golf Motor Learning & Coaching, Nicklaus/Flick Instructor, Soma Golf Trainer Level 3 and US Kids Certified Coach. His experience and education also include a tenure as Jim McLean’s Personal Assistant and Master Instructor at the Jim McLean Golf Schools.

Currently, Phil serves as a Teaching Professional at Sebonack Golf Club in Southampton, NY, during the summer season. Prior to this, he founded and served as the Director of Instruction at The Nantucket Golf Academy and held the position of Director of Golf at Miacomet Golf Club for 15 years.

Phil enjoyed a successful collegiate career, competing in Division 1 golf at UNC at Greensboro. His diverse roster of former students includes a New York State Open Champion, former PGA and LPGA winners, a US Women’s Senior Amateur Champion, a Collegiate Conference Champion and numerous beginners.
