George Wrede

A PGA member since 1979, George Wrede has dedicated many years to honing his skills as a golf professional. George has over 22 years of experience at premier clubs throughout Illinois, which include the Country Club of Decatur in Decatur, IL and Shoreacres in Lake Bluff, IL. As a former Master Professional at PGA National’s Academy of Golf, George studied under the tutelage of Top 50 Instructor Mike Adams.

In 2000, George was recognized as Teacher of the Year by the Illinois PGA Chapter for his exceptional golf instruction skills. In 2005, George took on the position of Director of Instruction at Harborside International GC, spending 18 summers in Chicago, IL, and his winters at the Breakers. George is in his 20th season at the John Webster Golf Academy. George is a certified Bioswing Dynamics Instructor, TPI Fitness Professional and AimPoint Instructor.
