George Wrede

A PGA member since 1979, George Wrede has dedicated many years honing his skills as a golf professional. After completing his 15th summer as Director of Golf at Harborside International Golf Center in Chicago, Illinois, George joined the John Webster Golf Academy.

As a former Master Professional at PGA National’s Academy of Golf, where he studied under the tutelage of Top 50 Instructor Mike Adams, George has over 22 years of experience at premier clubs throughout Illinois, which include the Country Club of Decatur in Decatur, IL and Shoreacres in Lake Bluff, IL. In 2000, George was recognized as Teacher of the Year by the Illinois PGA Chapter for his exceptional golf instruction skills; he is a certified Bioswing Dynamics Instructor, TPI Fitness Professional and AimPoint Instructor.
